COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities say a Colorado Springs man was accidentally shot as he was showing his wife how to safely handle a firearm.
The Gazette reports ( ) Jacob Cherry was cleaning his handguns Friday night and was shot as he was showing his wife how to handle the weapon. Police say Cherry was hospitalized in good condition after the bullet hit him in the left hand and left leg.
No charges have been filed.
