GREELEY, Colo.—A man is recovering after he was seriously burned when a welding tank exploded in his car in Greeley.
Adrian Vigil lost an eye and suffered serious burns and broken bones when the car blew up on Thursday. Investigators say the tank was leaking while Vigil was trying to get something out of his car, touching off a blast that sent parts of the car flying.
According to KUSA-TV ( ), Vigil was using the welding tank for his job as a plumber.
