Friday-Saturday. Is it our altitude? Our thin air? Either way, Colorado has become an indisputable axis of aerial arts over the last decade, thanks in large part to organizations like Boulder’s Frequent Flyers Productions and Denver’s Aerial Acrobatic Arts Festival, which takes over Eugenia Rawls Theater at the King Center on the Auraria Campus. The third annual installment will include world-class talent conducting workshops for both beginners and experts and public performances that let the audience judge who flies through the air with the greatest of ease. Let the hoops, silk and trapeze work begin. 7-11 p.m. Friday, 7-10 p.m. Saturday. 855 Lawrence Way. $30-$40. 303-556-2296 or
