GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Mountain College has formally begun a search for a new president to replace Stan Jensen.
The Glenwood Springs Post Independent reports () the search began Wednesday, and the deadline for applications is July 15.
Jensen resigned in December amid complaints about his role in leasing part of a Glenwood Springs campus for a compressor station for a natural gas pipeline. The college board rejected the lease as illegal, and a judge concurred.
Colorado Mountain College serves nine counties in the central and northern part of the state. It is a two-year institution that also grants bachelor’s degrees in certain fields.
