
1 Social Insecurity. On Sept. 20, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the Highlands Ranch Substation, 9250 Zotos Drive, where a woman reported someone broke into her car and stole Social Security cards. There were no changes to her bank accounts at the time, but she was given an identity theft pamphlet.
2 Cellphone theft. On Sept. 17, a deputy responded to a cellphone theft that happened at Primrose School, 9055 S. Ridgeline Blvd, where a woman found her phone had been taken to Aurora after pinging it. She deactivated the phone and obtained a new one. The phone was valued at $200.
3 The sign. On Sept. 17, a deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Blackbird Way and Blackbird Circle, where reported someone had stolen three “No parking” signs from the intersection. They were valued at $20 apiece.
4 Shoplifting. On Sept. 15, Parker Police responded to Wal-Mart, 11101 Parker Road, where two people attempted to steal items but left the items when they knew a loss prevention associate was following them. One woman was arrested for an active warrant.
5 Violation. On Sept. 15, Parker Police officers responded to the 8000 block of Little Bluestem Way on the report of a fight in progress. A man was arrested for assault in the third degree and for violation of a protection order.
6 Criminal trespass. On Sept. 14 Parker Police officers responded to the 12000 block of Arcaro Creek Court, where a man left his cars unlocked and items were missing.
