AURORA, Colo.—Authorities have identified two men who were fatally shot in Aurora this week as 65-year-old Martel Cornelius Thomas and 46-year-old Gregory McCoy.
The Denver Post reports ( ) the Arapahoe County coroner released the men’s names Friday.
Police say the shootings occurred Tuesday just before 3 a.m. when two people entered a home and a struggle ensued. Police say one of the suspects was shot inside the home and a man who lived at the house was shot outside.
Authorities haven’t said which man was Thomas and which was McCoy.
A woman inside the home was also shot, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
Police arrested 42-year-old Kenneth Donald Mackey on suspicion of murder later Tuesday. He is being held without bail.
Online records did not indicate whether he has an attorney.
