Pop provocateur will swing through the Mile High City on Aug. 6 when she plays the Pepsi Center as part of her , promoter Live Nation announced this morning.
Gaga, who last visited Denver , added the Colorado date along with five others “due to high demand.”
The later dates of the tour, including the Pepsi Center date, will include a “newly revealed stage plans” that bring Gaga “closer to the fans.”
After today’ announcement, the Denver concert is the last North American date before she heads to Japan, Australia, Europe and the U.K. for a series of shows starting Aug. 13.
Gaga has been in the news (again) for her show at least week’s South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, in which she played a Dortios-sponsored set that included . That led to some critics, including , into saying Gaga was glorifying eating disorders like bulimia — which artist Brown vigorously defended herself against.
Tickets for the Pepsi Center show, which range from $35-$200, are on sale via at noon on March 28.
