Storage pants. A shoplifter was caught stuffing clothes down his pants at Kohl’s, 18307 E. Hampden Ave., on April 2. He was apprehended and cited.

Shared property defense. A man called police to his home in the 4000 block of South Dillon Way because his estranged wife was breaking things in the house. Police called the suspect after she fled April 1. She said the items in the house were half hers, so she could break them.

Garage intruder. A woman who lives in the 12800 block of East Oregon Drive heard her back garage door slam March 31. She went out and noticed that her car door was open and several things were out of place.

Attempted fish theft. Police were called to a woman’s house in the 80 block of Macon Street because someone broke into her backyard and tried to steal fish from her pond. The woman heard a noise March 27 and turned on the back porch light. The thieves took off, but they left behind a fish net and bucket.

Broken window spree. A man noticed that someone broke his car window with a rock March 27 while it was in a parking garage in the 900 block of South Crystal Way. Three other cars in the garage also had broken windows.

Unattended pants. A man who lives at a communal treatment center in the 1000 block of South Mobile Street called police because he suspected that another resident stole a few hundred dollars from his pants March 26. The man said he took off his pants and left them on the floor of his bedroom. When he came back for them, the cash was gone.
