In what is recognized as the last major off-season event of the baseball season, two dozen Colorado prospects will participate in the 16th annual Perfect Game WWBA World Championships in Jupiter, Fla.
Hundreds of scouts on multiple levels will watch competition for five days at the spring-training fields of the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins.
Eighteen locals will be on the team Mountain West ’14, including Cherry Creek’s zMarc Johnson as an assistant coach.
Each team of the 85 expected to be on hand will play at least four games.
