CSU’s Jim McElwain says Grayson likely will play, but Higgins doubtful for Hawaii

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State coach Jim McElwain, whose news conference is continuing as I type, said that quarterback Garrett Grayson (bruised shoulder, groin injury) probably will play against Hawaii Saturday, but that wide receiver Rashard Higgins (shoulder) at this point is doubtful.

McElwain wouldn’t rule out Higgins playing, saying he expected that the sophomore wide receiver would be trying to get ready to be in the lineup.
