Dec. 1: Sexpot Comedy Open Mic Comedy Night. Sexpot Comedy presents open mic stand-up on Monday nights. Free. 8 p.m. Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, 1260 22nd St., Denver.

Dec. 5: Comics Against Civility. A comedy game show where audience members win prizes by submitting questions and fill-in-the-blanks to the contestants. Free. 7 p.m. Armoury, 2048 Larimer St., Denver. 

Dec. 5: Governor Jack Watches You Sleep. Comedy troupe leader Governor Jack interviews a nationally recognized improviser and then improvises scenes based on interview answers.
