There’s a certain type of criminal who takes your breath away with their brazen indifference to their victims — for example, the church volunteer who steals donations to the poor.
Now add another one to this pantheon of shame: immigration attorney Emily Cohen. Cohen was found guilty this week in a Boulder court for defrauding multiple clients of thousands of dollars.
Here’s the most despicable part, The prosecutor said she “took advantage of the fact that most of her clients did not speak much English and had immigration issues that might prevent them from going to the authorities.”
Disbarment should be the mildest part of her punishment.
