Police are searching for two suspects who shot a man twice early Saturday morning in North Denver.

The shooting happened at 4:30 a.m. at 51st Avenue and Utopia Court, said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.

“We don’t know what led to the shooting,” Jackson said.

Detectives are interviewing a female witness who was in a nearby car during the shooting, he said.

The victim, who was shot in the arm and the leg, was taken to a hospital, Jackson said. His current condition is not known.

The identities of the two suspects are not known. Police are not releasing the names of the suspect and witness.
