Denver police are responding to an accident in which a motorcycle rider crashed into a pole on the northbound Interstate 25 on-ramp.
The crash took place around 6:30 p.m. at the eastbound Colfax Avenue entrance to the ramp, police said.
Police said the motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries.
The northbound I-25 on-ramp is shut down while police investigate the crash.
