U.S. 285 is now open after being closed in both directions at Shaffers Crossing after an accident Sunday afternoon, officials said.
A two-vehicle crash stopped traffic from mile marker 229 to mile marker 234 in both lanes, said Colorado State Patrol trooper Josh Lewis.
The investigation into the crash is early, Lewis said, but he could say that there are parties who have been or are being transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
On Saturday, killed two people on a motorcycle.
The investigation into both crashes remains ongoing.
