The Evans Police chief is named in a lawsuit that . The family of Ashley Fallis says she did not commit suicide. They say she was killed by her husband, Tom Fallis, who is a former Weld County sheriff’s deputy.
The family’s lawsuit accuses Evans Police Chief Rick Brandt and four other detectives and officers of ignoring or omitting incriminating statements, altering witness testimony and failing to follow standard protocol for homicide investigations. Ashley Fallis was found dead on New Year’s Day 2012.

The women who walked out say they couldn’t come to any compromise and they felt Skip Noe will have his job as long as he wants it. Another executive session will be held April 13 to address the matter. Noe denies allegations that he is demeaning to women.

Police say he picked up a client at her home by the University Of Denver, then went back and tried to break in after dropping the woman at DIA. Uber says Montgomery passed a background check before joining the company as a contractor and he’s since been deactivated as a driver.

The three-stage women’s race will begin in Breckenridge on August 21st, then move on to Fort Collins and Golden. Female cyclists like Boulder’s Mara Abbott, say they are thrilled to be able to compete at the US Pro Challenge. The female race includes prize money, just like the men’s race which runs from August 17-23.
