Forecasters are calling for sunny skies and a high near 74 degrees in Denver on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Boulder says light, variable winds will be possible in the city before temperatures cool down to about 46 degrees Wednesday night.

The weather service predicts a high of 78 degrees on Thursday with a slight chance of thunderstorms.

The chance of storms is expected to increase on Thursday night, forecasters say.
