The Denver Botanic Gardens is celebrating its first week of outdoor yoga classes with a special $5 price on classes May 12-14. “Sunrise Vinyasa Yoga in the Gardens” classes are offered at 8 a.m. May 12 and May 14. An “Evening Vinyasa Yoga at the Gardens” class begins at 6 p.m. May 13. Ten Thousand Villages Denver, recently named the Cherry Creek Chamber Nonprofit of the Year, presents the fifth annual Oriental Rug Event May 13-16. The highly anticipated display and sale offers more than 300 Bunyaad rugs in all shapes and sizes. Bunyaad is a fair-trade Oriental rug company that works with more than 850 families in 100 villages in Pakistan.
