♫ I’ve got a golden ticket. ♫
Admit it, that song from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” is now stuck in your head. Breckenridge Brewery is taking a page out of the classic movie for a golden ticket giveaway to be the first to officially tour its new on June 20.
“Our golden tickets are clearly a nod to Willy Wonka,” Breckenridge Brewery culture czar Todd Thibault said in a news release. “This brewery’s been three years in the making, and it’s like the coolest candy factory to us. We’re excited to show it off.”
Breckenridge is giving away 50 tickets for the opening. Winners are allowed to bring one guest.
The golden tickets can be won at various liquor stores and bars around the state. Most of the drawings will take place June 6, according to Breckenridge. .
Standard tours of the new brewery will begin on Father’s Day, which is June 21.
“We hope our golden tickets give 50 people something to brag about, but most importantly, we just want to treat some folks to a really, really special experience,” Thibault said in the release.
