With two Super Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl win under his belt, Russell Wilson is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. How much should the 26-year-old Cincinnati native make when compared with the NFL’s elite?
For The Sports Show’s Woody Paige, it’s not a difficult question.
“Let me give you a hint. $100 million, Paige said. “That’s the going rate. Now, how much of that is guaranteed is all that really matters.”
Paige also said that much of Russell Wilson’s success has come from his situation and the good team he’s on. Paige felt that Wilson doesn’t even crack No.5 of the NFL’s best quarterbacks.
Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning are all better in Paige’s mind.
