
1 Bomb squad goes fishing. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office bomb squad responded to a mysterious box left by the side of Evergreen Lakedam June 17. The box was tan with a black handle on top and a metal latch on the front. It was determined to be a tackle box.
2 Mischief. A resident of the 7000 block of Armadillo Trail, Evergreen, reported June 18 that a window at the home was broken and there was evidence on the window frame that someone had tried to pry it open.
3 Mischief. A resident of the 30000 block of Beaver Creek Lane, Evergreen, reported June 20 that a screen on a basement window of his home appeared to have been removed.
4 Mischief. A resident of the 2000 block of Bridger Court, Evergreen, reported June 20 that he found two screens removed from the outside of windows of his home. One screen appeared to have been cut so a person could remove it from the frame.
5 And more mischief. On June 16, a resident of the 20000 block of Colorado 74, Evergreen, reported damage to two windows of his home. Both windows had small holes consistent with a BB gun. The resident suspects the damage happened in May when he was on vacation.
6 Neighbors go downhill. Two residents of the 30 block of West Ranch Trail, Evergreen, called Jeffco Sheriff’s Office June 14 regarding a neighbor dispute. One resident accused his neighbor of deliberately routing water runoff onto his property. The other resident claimed his neighbor called he and his wife idiots. Both said they plan to file lawsuits.
