1 Pot thieves. A woman noticed that three of her potted flower plants were missing from alongside her driveway in the 16000 block of East Alabama Drive. She followed dropped red petals around her yard and discovered that two more pots had also been taken July 26.

2 Grill supplies. The owner of the 7-Eleven at 10722 E. Alameda Ave. called police July 30 because someone drove up to the business in the early morning and cut the chain off the propane tank cage. Two tanks were taken, and there are no suspects.

3 Everyone does it. An employee at the CEVA warehouse at18300 E. 28th Ave. stole a laptop and tablet from work, then felt guilty and brought them back July 30. His boss wanted to press charges, and the suspect told police that other people steal from there all the time, but they don’t bring items back.

4 Fast tire heist. Police were called to the 20100 block of East Sky Ranch Road because a construction worker had parked his truck out there for a few hours July 26 and, when he came back, someone had stolen all four tires and their rims and set the truck up on cinder blocks.

5 Stolen from the driveway. A man who lives in the 14000 block of East Stanford Court realized that someone stole his car while he was asleep at home July 26.

6 Phone phishing. A man who lives in the 22100 block of East Berry Place reported that someone would not stop calling him July 28. He called the number back and got the voicemail of a man who said his phone had been hacked, so he reported that to police.
