
1 Kick the habit, not the door. A man smashed the glass door at the 7 Eleven at 11421 Washington St., Northglenn, on Dec. 2 because he did not have his ID on him and the clerk refused to sell him cigarettes. He was gone before police arrived.
2 Sleeping patterns. A police officer cited a man for sleeping behind the bus stop in front of Thrive Church, 2820 W. 92nd Ave., Federal Heights, Nov. 9. The same officer cited the same man earlier that day for sleeping inside a laundry room at an apartment complex.
3 Bad girls. A school resource officer for Northglenn High School, 601 W. 100th Place, suspended two female students and issued a warrant for another former student Dec. 11 because the girls had been trespassing at the school and threatening to attack another student in person, in text messages and online for several days.
4 Trying to leave. Police were called to the 300 block of Pike Street, Northglenn, by the friend of a girl who was going there to get her things and leave her boyfriend Dec. 3. When the group showed up at the house, the boyfriend kicked and punched their car. Police couldn’t find the boyfriend.
5 No refund. A woman was cited Nov. 8 for trying to return an ink printer cartridge that she had just taken off the shelf from the Kmart at 1400 E. 104th Ave., Thornton.
6 Broken window. Someone broke a man’s driver-side window while his car was parked in front of his home in the 1300 block of West 84th Avenue, Federal Heights, on Nov. 10. The suspects took his Ray Bans and iPod.
