A Denver school bus loaded with dozens of children caught fire after school Wednesday, but no injuries were reported.

The 38 students were all from University Preparatory School, an elementary school in Five Points.

Marlene Desmond, a spokeswoman for Denver Public Schools, said Thursday that the bus caught fire while on Martin Luther King Boulevard.

All students, and the driver were uninjured, and another district bus went to pick up the children to continue taking them home.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, she said.
