Traffic is flowing again after two separate accidents brought cars to a halt along Interstate 25 in Thornton.

Both crashes occurred around 1:30 p.m. on southbound I-25 near West 84th Avenue, Thornton Police officials said. The accident backed up traffic for three miles all the way to at least West 104th Avenue.

Officials said no one was seriously injured in either accident, each of which involved two vehicles. All four vehicles were towed away from the scene.

Officials said they didn’t yet know the cause of the accidents.
