Mechanical issues on the University of Colorado A-Line and a car accident at the Sable and Chamber crossings have caused big delays for travelers commuting between the airport and downtown Denver.
The Regional Transportation District is reporting 15 to 30 minute delays on the A-Line to the airport, which are expected to continue throughout the night. However, airport passengers said they waited for a train for as long as an hour.
Maintenance work to repair damage from the traffic accident is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. RTD said delays are expected to be 10 to 15 minutes by that point.
Passengers at the Central Park and Peoria Stations will board and deboard at track 2 for both eastbound and westbound trains during the maintenance work. RTD did not have a time for when maintenance is expected to finish.
Lots of people waiting for A Line at . Haven't seen a train in at least 40 min.

Come on. Been at Peoria Station for over 30 min. Give us a real update. Is the train coming or should we Uber?
