Responsible individuals know how to set proper priorities while others do not. Such is how some of us look at the schedule for the presidential debates, two debates being scheduled at the same time as sporting events.

The question for everyone has to be the same. Which is more important: watching a sporting event or the future of the nation? To some of us, the choice is clear (there being no contest), and we believe it should be to everyone. It is the future of an entire nation.

Those who believe otherwise (and ask that the debates be rescheduled) to accommodate sporting events are, in my humble opinion, placing the future of their country behind personal self-gratification.
