Re: Aug. 15 letter to the editor.

After 18 months of what has seemed like 24/7 coverage of the presidential candidates on TV and in the newspapers, as well as the relentless TV ads and phone calls, not to mention the more than 30 debates that have already taken place, I actually have already made up my mind and do not need to watch three more debates before casting my vote. In addition, either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will be elected our next president by about 50 percent of those voting, so only about half of those voting will have voted for the better candidate. Letap not be so naïve as to infer that by watching or not watching the next debates, the “future of the nation” is at stake.
