We’re awash in novel, inspired or otherwise bizarre Halloween celebrations, given Colorado’s party-loving culture, but here are a couple unique ones: the Demon Knight Masquerade Ball at the Gothic Theatre features John Kassir (voice of the Crypt Keeper from “Tales of The Crypt”) and music from First Jason (feat. Ari Lehman, “The Original Jason Voorhees”) Rockissity and The Hollow on Oct. 28. ($15, ). Oct. 31 also welcomes Central City’s Kolorado Freakers Ball at the Scarlet, a 16-and-up, music-focused costume party in the style of Ken Kesey and The Merry Pranksters. Includes a screening of the “Going Furthur” documentary, live music, a drum circle and more. ($15, ).
