The wildfire and consumed an estimated 5,000 acres of land has been contained.

Officials say the blaze — dubbed the Milne fire — consumed a few outbuildings but no homes.
More than 600 homes were evacuated at the height of the fire, but those orders to flee have since been lifted. Authorities have not said what sparked the fire, which was located southeast of Colorado Springs.

Firefighters were monitoring the burn area for flare ups on Tuesday.
