Re: March 3 Greg Dobbs column.

Not once have I heard President Donald Trump attack honest news reporters for honest news, calling them “an enemy of the people.” Greg Dobbs appears to have been one of those reporters, risking hislife to present honest news, and for that I applaud him. But Trump was referring to those news organizations and supposed reporters whotwist, spin, distort and make up news to attack him, Republicans and conservatives. When will Dobbs writean opinion column on the dishonest news media and reporters?

I want to express my appreciation to Greg Dobbs. His comments are spot-on regarding the necessity of journalists and the risks they take to deliver the news to those of us who sit comfortably in our homes. If not for journalists, the world would be devoid of critical information. Thank you for reminding us just what journalists risk to bring us the news.

I have always appreciated Greg Dobbs’ pragmatic and straightforward work over the years. I hope he keeps it up and doesn’t get discouraged — there are still those of us who depend on journalists to give us the facts and reasoned, thoughtful opinions. Hopefully sanity will return to the country that we all love so much.
