Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Rockies third baseman made an amazing defensive play.

At this point, it’s just Nolan being Nolan.

In the bottom of the third inning against San Francisco Wednesday, Giants pitcher Ty Blach — a Regis Jesuit High School alum — hit a grounder toward the Rockies’ all-star third baseman. Arenado stopped the ball with his bare hand, grabbed it, spun around and threw Blach out at first for the second out in the inning.

Arenado, a four-time Gold Glove winner, has committed just one error in 78 games entering Wednesday’s game. He was ranked released Monday, trailing Cubs’ Kris Bryant by about 58,000 votes.

The Rockies were leading 2-0 after three innings.
