Eli Manning’s this week. It was announced Tuesday that Geno Smith will start for the New York Giants on Sunday. Manning’s now as the Giants look to rebuild.

So should the Broncos entertain the idea of bringing in a veteran quarterback in his late 30s, who has already been to two Super Bowls? After all, .

The question has come up in back-to-back weeks in the Lunch Special live chat with Mark Kiszla, and suffice to say Kiz has been consistent in his response:

“Eli Manning to Denver?” . “Pardon the bluntness of my opinion: Oh, yuck. Heck, no. The Broncos got the best Manning. And won a Super Bowl with Peyton. Getting another Manning when Eli is washed up seems like a bad idea.”

Kiszla or another veteran quarterback. His response:

“No to Eli Manning,” Kiszla wrote. “Please no. He appears to be done. Or near done. But I do expect (John) Elway to actively explore signing a free-agent QB. Whether he can make a deal for somebody like Kirk Cousins? Thatap another question entirely.”
