Evergreen takes on Pueblo South on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the girls basketball state championship at the Denver Coliseum.

The No. 6 Cougars (25-2) wore down Widefield in the Final Four on Thursday and are headlined by junior forward Claudia Dillon, while the No. 12 Colts outlasted Mesa Ridge in overtime that same day to advance back to the title.
Evergreen beat Pueblo South 45-35 in the championship last season.
