Arturo GarciaA man suspected in a July 2017 murder in Aurora has been arrested in Mexico and deported to the United States, police said.
Arturo Garcia, 22, was arrested on a first-degree-murder warrant in the death of 18-year-old Alexandrea Raber, according to police.
On July 2, 2017, police were called to the Knights Inn Motel, 14200 E. Sixth Avenue, on a welfare check. Officers found Raber’s body inside a motel room.
Garcia was arrested Tuesday in Mexico and is being held in the Dallas County Jail in Texas, according to a news release. Extradition proceedings to return Garcia to Colorado are underway. He’ll be prosecuted in the 18th Judicial District in Colorado.
