

Remember when Derrick White tomahawk-dunked Paul Millsap into a million pieces Saturday night at the Can?
Yeah, of course you do.
How could you not? Not only did it set Twitter on fire, but it also while simultaneously transforming into a talking point for many a Nuggets aficionado lamenting the .
But the Legend High School, uh, legend wasn’t the only former CU Buffs star who made some noise on opening weekend of the NBA playoffs.
Across the continent in the City of Brotherly Love, Spencer Dinwiddie put in some work in the on Saturday afternoon. The 6-foot-6 guard’s final line: 18 points, three rebounds and one assist on 6-of-14 shooting.
That comes off a season in which Dinwiddie received and signed a long-term contract that locks him up with the Nets for the next three seasons.
Not bad for a former second-round pick — and another Buffalo that got away.
