Drew Lock is better than Daniel Jones. That’s according to the rookie launch ratings that Electronic Arts unveiled on Monday for Madden NFL 20. The Broncos’ second-round pick earned a 67, slightly higher than the Giants’ No. 6 overall pick (65).

“He has a strong arm, reflected by his 88 Throw Power rating, but it wouldn’t be a shock if he remained on the bench the entire year,” . “Sorry Broncos fans, you’re stuck with Flacco under center in Madden — and in life.”

While his throwing power is fourth among all rookies, not all of his stats were high.

“My juke? What’s the lowest you can actually be?” .

Here’s a look at how the rest of the Broncos rookies in the game were rated:

  • TE Noah Fant (1st round, No. 20 overall) — 74
  • OL Dalton Risner (2nd round, No. 41 overall) — 69
  • DT Dre’Mont Jones (3rd round, No. 71 overall) — 67
  • LB Justin Hollins (5th round, No. 156 overall) — 66
  • WR Juwann Winfree (6th round, No. 187 overall) — 65
  • CB Alijah Holder (undrafted) — 59
  • QB Brett Rypien (undrafted) — 56

The highest rated rookie in the game is Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (80), followed by Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver Jr. (79) and 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa (78).

Madden NFL 20 is slated for an Aug. 2 release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
