Steamboat Springs handed Middle Park a loss in a 21-7 showdown on Friday, Sept. 20.

Gabe Loberg led Middle Park’s passing attack with 94 yards through the air. Loberg’s most prolific target in the game was Evan Laraby, who caught four passes for 48 yards.

Ben Opatril spearheaded the Middle Park ground game by gaining 92 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 4.8 yards per carry.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Steamboat Springs heading to play Hotchkiss and Middle Park taking on The Academy.
