The Academy managed to prevail in a low-scoring game against Middle Park, 19-0 on Friday.
Brandon Boston led The Academy’s aerial attack with 194 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Boston also added 64 yards on the ground. Daniel Graniello lead all The Academy receivers with two catches for 57 yards. Isaiah Eliot helped in the passing game as well, reeling in three balls for 55 yards and one touchdown. The Academy also got 51 yards receiving and one touchdown from Gabriel Espinosa in the contest.
The Academy was lead in rushing by Charlie States and his 50 yards in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with The Academy heading to play Prospect Ridge Academy and Middle Park taking on D’Evelyn.
Middle Park has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
