Weldon Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Briggsdale squad, losing by a score of 70-18 on Friday, Sept. 27.

Shane Donoho led Briggsdale’s passing attack with 65 yards through the air. Isiah Nava lead all Briggsdale receivers with one catch for 28 yards and one score.

Malik Carlson spearheaded the Briggsdale rushing attack by running for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 22 yards per carry. Coy Cox added 60 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 20 yards per carry.

Briggsdale will stay home and play Peetz, while Weldon Valley will travel to play North Park.

Weldon Valley has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
