Wheat Ridge couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Chatfield squad, losing by a score of 30-0 on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Trailblazer Stadium .
Matthew Canino powered Chatfield’s passing attack with 145 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Canino also added 52 yards on the ground. Daniel Nickels lead all Chatfield receivers with three receptions for 50 yards.
Chatfield’s rushing game was spearheaded by Malcolm Boyd who ran for 91 yards in the game. Boyd also tacked on 42 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Chatfield hosting Golden and Wheat Ridge taking on Bear Creek.
