The Rye Thunderbolts easily handled the Las Animas Trojans by a score of 60-9 on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Jolee Ortiz lead Rye with 15 points scored while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Sydney Adamson and Sophie Adamson also had productive performances contributing 14 points and 10 points, respectively.
Las Animas was paced in scoring by Monique Maes who scored five points while collecting three rebounds. Julyanna Gonzales had a notable night, scoring two points.
Next up for each team, Las Animas will stay home and play Rocky Ford, while Rye will travel to play John Mall.
