Itap snowing again in Denver.

After a daylong warmup with sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s Saturday, snow showers moved back into the Denver region Sunday morning.

Another two to four inches of accumulation is expected Sunday, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder, which warned that roads on the plains would be slippery into the afternoon, and roads in the foothills and mountains would stay slick for longer.

The snowfall is expected to slow as the morning wears on and stop all together by Sunday afternoon, according to the weather service. Denver’s western suburbs will see the heaviest snowfall.

The flurries might return Sunday night and Monday morning, according to the weather service, which gives a 30% chance of more snow falling before 11 a.m. Monday. Temperatures on Sunday and Monday should not get much higher than 30 degrees and are expected to dip into single digits overnight.

Sunny skies should return on Tuesday, according to the weather service, although a chance of snow throughout the week will remain.
