The Broomfield Police Department responded to a fatal shooting Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 2200 block of Sunridge Circle near U.S. 287 and Miramonte Boulevard just before 6:30 a.m. after reports of a disturbance and shots fired. When they arrived, they found a dead man at the home.
Police are investigating the incident as a homicide. Several vehicle break-ins were reported in the area early Wednesday morning, although it’s unknown at this time if there’s a connection to the shooting. No arrest had been made as of 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim’s identity will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
