BEIJING OLYMPICS: Here are the Colorado athletes competing in the Winter Games
Born in China, but abandoned as a baby, Owens was adopted by a Colorado family when she was about 16 months old. She was the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup rookie of the year in 2021 after finishing fourth in the overall standings. She nabbed her first World Cup podium finish – a gold medal – in the dual moguls at Deer Valley on Feb. 5, 2021. This will be her first Olympic Games.
