A fire at the Blue Sky Motel in Lakewood burned at least three units Tuesday morning, according to West Metro Fire Rescue.
The fire started in a ground floor unit and later spread to two other units on the second floor, though the cause of the fire is under investigation, .
The hotel, located at 6205 W. Colfax Ave., has been closed since its by Lakewood’s Lodging Facility Licensing Authority in September 2021.
