Woman’s body found in Douglas County home, leading to arrest of one man on investigation of second-degree murder

A man is in custody after deputies found a woman’s body inside a residence in the Sterling Ranch area of Douglas County.

Deputies responded Monday afternoon to the 9200 block of Merino Circle on a report of a possible death, the said in a news release. On arrival deputies contacted a man outside the residence and the body was found inside the home.

Dustin Neumann, 27, was arrested on investigation of second-degree murder, . He is being held at the Douglas County jail without bond.

The victim, who was known to the suspect, was not identified in the Tuesday news release. An investigation is ongoing.
