A 21-year-old man and woman were killed in a murder-suicide in Arapahoe County on Thursday, according to the coroner’s office.
Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of 1930 S. Quebec Way around 3:35 p.m. Thursday, Deputy John Bartmann said in an email.
Bartmann declined to release further details about the case because it is still an open investigation.
The two people killed were identified as Jaya Capri Flores, 21, and Daniel Avina, 21, by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office. Flores’ death was ruled a homicide and Avina’s death was ruled a suicide, according to the coroner’s office.
