A design-forward Asian fusion noodle shop and cocktail bar that came to Denver from Washington State four years ago said this week that it has permanently closed its doors.

Reckless Noodle House, 820 Sherman St., served dishes like Vietnamese noodle bowls, Chinese duck, fried rice and papaya salad. Its owners brought it from Seattle after running a sister operation there for five years.

“After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to permanently close our restaurant and bar in Denver. Sometimes you have to know when to say when,” the owners wrote on the restaurant’s website.

This has not been an easy choice. We are incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty, and memories shared with our guests, staff, and community over the years. What we built together went far beyond a business — it was a place of connection, celebration, and belonging,” they continued. To our team, past and present: thank you for your passion, hard work, and heart. To our guests: thank you for choosing us for your place to enjoy happy hour, date nights, celebrations, and your continued support over the last three years. While this chapter in Denver is coming to an end, we will always cherish the moments that made it so special.”
