The construction worker who died after he was found unresponsive at the site of the new Denver Broncos training facility last week has been identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Sven Eryk Johnson, 31, was found unresponsive at the site of the Denver Broncos’ new training facility on June 15, . As of Friday, when the coroner publicly identified the man, his cause and manner of death remained under investigation.

A coworker found Johnson “in a confined ceiling area” at the construction site, 13409 E. Broncos Parkway, at about 8:20 p.m. on June 15. The man was declared dead at the scene.

officials confirmed last week that an investigation had been opened into Johnson’s death. OSHA has 6 months to complete the investigation, spokesperson Tiffany Koebel said.

The Broncos planned to start relocating their offices and operations to the new facility this month, with the move-in process scheduled to be completed before the start of the team’s training camp in late July.

As of last week, construction at the site had been suspended amid the ongoing investigation. Turner Construction Company, the firm leading construction at the site, did not immediately respond to questions about whether work had resumed on Monday.
